Set in the the much sought after location of Mijas on the Costa del Sol, where the sun shines for more than 300 days of the year, this apartment provides the ideal base for either a relaxing break or an action packed holiday playing golf, tennis, horse riding or enjoying the many other recreational opportunities available in the area. There are also many places of interest to visit for day trips including Granada (The Alhambra) , Cordoba, Seville, Gibraltar, Marbella, Ronda. In the winter, it is possible to ski in the mountains of the Sierra Nevada which are some 180 kilometres and less than two hours drive away.
The apartment is situated in the select Lew Hoad Tennis Village which has its own swimming pool, gardens and car parking and is set in a beautiful quiet green wooded oasis formed with the adjacent Lew Hoad Campo de Tenis. The apartment is self catering, with all linen and electricity provided and weekly cleaning.
The kitchen, dining and sitting areas are all within one large room 7.7 x 3.4 metres. The kitchen area has an electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, and a good range of equipment which includes a blender, coffee maker, toaster, juicer and cooking utensils. The dining area has a table which seats 6 people - the sitting area includes two large sofas, satellite TV, video, DVD, radio, CD and cassette player and an extensive selection of books. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed the other with two single beds. There is one bath room with bath, shower, washbasin and toilet. The main living area and one of the bedrooms are air conditioned, providing heating for chillier winter evenings and cooling in the summer when required. The sitting area and both bedrooms also have ceiling mounted fans. There are sun loungers, table and chairs etc on the South facing 7.7 x 2 metres balcony which provides an uninterrupted view over the magnificent surrounding countryside.

Shops are within easy walking distance as are a number of very good Spanish and continental restaurants. The frequent bus service to both Mijas town centre and to Fuengirola passes the village.

Málaga Airport is 20 minutes away by car. Alternatively during the day time, there is a train service from the Airport to Fuengirola every half hour which takes 30 minutes and from Fuengirola a bus or taxi takes 10 minutes.
Low cost flights to and from Málaga from many UK airports are available from easyJet, MONARCH, BRITISH AIRWAYS, IBERIA, bmibaby, Thomsonflights, flybe, jet2, and possibly others. Prices vary depending upon the time of year and how far in advance you book. Low cost car hire can also be arranged for pick up at Málaga airport.
